You may already have a form that includes most of the configurations you need such as fields, mappings, allocation information and styling and you need a similar form with some minor differences. Impact Designer makes it easy for you to create new forms with similar configurations to one that already exists by allowing you to copy forms.
For example, you may already have a form that has all the fields you need, complete with the appropriate mappings and styling but you need a new form with similar configurations that will process payments through a different merchant account. Instead of having to create a new form and go through all the configurations again, you can simply copy an existing form and edit it to make minor adjustments.
Please note that when copying a form, you are copying the form and all of its attributes including, but not limited to, allocation information, styling, and payment gateway information.
To copy a form, click on the Copy button beside the form you would like to copy.
A confirmation message will display. Click on OK to continue.
The Form Designer will open to allow you to configure the new form. By default, the form will have the same name as the form you copied but will say "Copy". You can rename the form by going to Form from the top menu and click on Rename Form.
Since copying a form copies all of the form's attributes, it is recommended that you review the form's properties to ensure that payments are processing through the appropriate merchant account, fields are mapped correctly and that the allocation information is still valid.
Remember to save the form if you make any changes. To make your form live, you will need to publish the form.
