Causeview Impact Designer allows you to create both Impact form and Impact page. An Impact form is an online donation form that captures the constituent's donation, contact and payment information, and the form can be embedded onto your organization's web page. An Impact page is a web page with the online donation form already embedded, and you can customize the page.
Similar to Causeview's ActionPage Designer, Causeview Impact Designer Pages gives you the advantage to easily create appeal/organization-specific standalone web pages (https secure) with embedded donation forms without getting your web team involved to create a separate web page to host your online donation form. For your custom Impact page, you can add introductory text to describe your appeal/organization, define gift allocation (appeal and fund), and assign the display format (vertical or wizard).
In this article, you will learn how to create an Impact page and all the customization options that are available to you in order to fully tailor the page for your appeal/organizational branding.
1) On the top navigational bar, go to "Forms & Pages" and select "Pages".

2) Click on "Create Page" at the top right corner.

3) New window will appear to prompt you to input a name of the new Impact page. Click "OK" once you have entered the name of the new page.

4) You will be directed to the Page designer interface where you can begin to customize your Impact page.

5) Before you begin to tailor your page, there are two mandatory actions required. You would need to select the donation form you would like the use for this particular page. Please note you will only be able to select from your list of published forms. Secondly, you need to select the display format of the page; you can select "Vertical Display" which shows the donation form in one-long page format, or you can select the "Wizard Display" which shows the donation form in a multipage format.
6) After you select the donation form and display format, you can now customize the form. There's no particular order on how you should customize your Impact page.
Header and Footer image: Click on the "Add image" grey box to add image to the header or footer. Once clicked, a new Image Settings window will appear where you can "Upload New Image" where you can locate an image file from your computer, or you can "Select From Library" to choose from previously uploaded images.

Text Editor: Add introductory text to the page. Click on the "Click to edit Text Content..." area and enter text if necessary (could be used to describe your appeal, mission, fundraising goal, etc).
Form Overrides: Although the form you select may be assigned to a specific appeal or fund already, you have the option to override the predefined appeal and/or fund by selecting a new appeal and/or fund from the dropdown.

Layout: On the left-hand side tool bar, "Layout" shows the current layout of the Impact page.

Background: On the left-hand side tool bar, "Background" allows you to assign an image to appear behind the text and donation form as a background by uploading a new image file from your computer or by selecting a previously uploaded image from the library. If you do not wish to use an image as a background, you will have the option to set a background color by typing the name of the color (e.g. "Blue") or entering the hex color code of the color (e.g. #0000ff). Click "Save" once background image or color is set.

Theme: On the left-hand side tool bar, "Theme", you can select from your current list of CSS themes that you have created in Impact Designer. By selecting the particular CSS theme, the styling of your Impact page will pick up the custom theme (colors, font style, etc) to tailor to your unique appeal and/or organization. Click "Save" once CSS theme is selected.

SEO: On the left-hand side tool bar, "SEO" allows you to improve your page's search engine optimization. You can add a page description to allow constituents to learn more about your page from organic search results. You can also assign keywords that describe your page so that your page may come up through those specific keyword searches. Click "Save" once description and keywords are assigned.

Feedback: On the left-hand side tool bar, "Feedback" redirects you to a new web page where you have the opportunity to share your feedback on Causeview Impact Designer. The "Comments" section will allow you to enter any suggestions/input on Causeview Impact Designer, which will be reviewed by Causeview's Customer Success team for product improvement purposes.

7) Once you are complete with customizing your Impact page. You can click on "Save" (note: you can always save throughout the creation of the page as well).

8) Once the form is saved, and you are ready to make the page public, click on "Share Page".

9) Click on the "Active" button to make the form available to the public. Enter a URL link under "Inactive URL" to redirect constituents in the event that the page becomes Inactive (e.g. no longer public due to appeal completion). Click on "Close" once complete.

The Impact page is now complete. You can share the public URL link with constituents so they can make donations directly to the Impact page.
In this article, you have learned how to navigate to Pages in Impact Designer to create a new Impact page which is a custom web page with your custom donation form. You have also learned the customization options (introductory text, header/footer image, background image/color, CSS theme, gift allocation, SEO, vertical/wizard display format) that are available to you so you can further tailor the Impact page specific to your unique appeal and/or organization.
