A related list is a section within a detail page that lists all of the records (individual items saved in Causeview) of one type which are connected to the record you are viewing. Only the first five items will be viewable from the detail page, but the list can be expanded within the detail page, or the full list can be viewed by clicking on the link “Go to full list”.
For example, if you are viewing the detail page for an event, the related list of registrations will list all of the individuals registered to attend that event, the related list of transaction allocations will list all of the transactions where money was allocated to the event, and the expenses will list all information saved in Causeview about expenses for holding the event. To see more information about a specific allocation, or to make changes to it, you can click on the allocation number, or click on the quick link to “Edit”.
All of the related lists on a detail page are listed at the top of the page as anchor links for quick navigation to the information you’re looking for. The list can also be viewed by hovering your mouse over the anchor link.
